What UnTXT Does

UnTXT finds the AI written passages in a piece of text. You paste in an essay, a report or whatever you happen to be working on, and what comes back is the passages themselves, each one marked either AUTHENTIC or SUSPECT with the reasoning written out, so you are looking at particular sentences instead of a bare percentage that tells you nothing you can use. There is no percentage anywhere in the product, and that is deliberate: a number invites you to work it downwards, which is not the same activity as writing better. Eleven detection modules do the underlying work, each tuned to a different tell, and they still reach developers in full through the API even though the app itself no longer asks a reader to learn eleven colours. Then there is Academic Weapon, which we call M13 internally, though it works quite differently from the others. It sets two frontier models against each other, Claude Opus 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol, arguing over the same passage, so disagreement is actually possible rather than smoothed away. When they do disagree, Claude Sonnet 5 steps in and settles it. That is the strongest reading the system produces, and it is the one we would defend.
