Ask something like "check this paragraph for AI patterns", and Claude hands the text to UnTXT and reads back what came of it. What runs is the full analysis, the same one the website runs: two models read the text passage by passage and argue about it, and a third settles whatever they cannot agree on. What comes back to Claude is one reading of how strongly the text follows those patterns. For the marks on each passage and the reasons behind them, open the same text on untxt.uk. It spends credit from the UnTXT account you connected, and metered billing has to be switched on there first, so a brand new connection will send you off to do that before it checks anything.
The connector spends credit from your own UnTXT account exactly as the website does. A brand new account has none of that credit sitting ready on the connector's side until you visit untxt.uk/developer and either add a card or top up. Claude will say so plainly if a check cannot run for that reason, rather than failing silently, and the fix is the same short visit either way.
